About Me

I graduated from Xavier University in 1970, and from the College of Law at the University of Cincinnati in 1974. I was admitted to the bar in the State of Ohio in November 1974 and maintained a private practice for 52 years, retiring from the practice at the end of 2025. I enjoyed the challenges and responsibility that were presented to me by my many clients over the years. But I do have to say that half a century at the bar was quite enough, and I am thoroughly enjoying my retirement.

I served as a Field Artillery Officer in the United States Army in both the active and reserve components for 24 years. I'm proud to have had the honor and privilege of commanding the 5th Battalion, 28th Field Artillery (8 inch Howitzer) near the conclusion of my career. I retired from the Service in 1994 with the rank of Colonel.

My wife Nancy and I reside in Cincinnati, where we have been happily married for over fifty years. We've been blessed with two daughters, Robyn & Katie, and two son-in laws that any father would be proud to have. We also are the proud grandparents of Mary, Patrick, Olivia. and Lola, each of whom have given us countless hours of enjoyment.
