About Me

I graduated from Xavier University in 1970, and from the College of Law at the University of Cincinnati in 1974. I was admitted to the bar in the State of Ohio in November 1974 and have practiced continuously since then. In addition to my private practice, I have served as the Law Director for Green Township in Hamilton County, Ohio for over thirty years. Green Township is the second largest township in the State of Ohio.

I served as a Field Artillery Officer in the United States Army in both the active and reserve components between 1970 and 1994. I'm proud to have had the honor and privilege of commanding the 5th Battalion, 28th Field Artillery (8 inch Howitzer) near the conclusion of my career.

Outside of my practice, I enjoy reading and writing. I've written three novels. Caesura, published in 2010, is a story about a family dealing with an elderly parent in the early stages of dementia. On the Water's Edge, published in 2014, is the story of a retired attorney who moves to the Eastern Seaboard and finds a sense of peace that has eluded him. In 2021, True North was published. It is a story of a firefighter's struggle to listen to those who wish to help him find his moral compass.
